Jackie Engel
Jackie Engel, Interim Vice President, Accounting, joined NuScale in 2016. In her current position, Ms. Engel is responsible for leading the accounting and reporting team, ensuring that the financial statements are accurately stated, and that the company adheres to all federal government compliance and corporate tax requirements.
Ms. Engel has over 30 years of accounting and financial compliance experience and worked in accounting roles for a variety of industries, including pre-press, logistics, precious metals reclamation, grant administration, and energy. Earlier in her career, Ms. Engel spent nearly 10 years with the Public Health Institute, gaining expertise in Financial Compliance for U.S. government-funded grants and contracts.
Since joining the company, Ms. Engel has served as NuScale’s Controller, establishing and managing the company’s financial compliance program.
Ms. Engel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in accounting from University of New Haven.
